Aaron grew up spending most of his time away from his father and mother. He was raised in a foster home for most of his childhood. This impacted his life deeply and serves as a backdrop for his life. He talks about being in a gang in the city of Chicago, how his anger caused problems and violence with his peers. With that being said, he also talks about being set free from that and how it happened.

Edward is the oldest of six children. His father dropped out of school to work in the fields in the south. Limited in education his father got married and started a family. Edward joins us at the table to discuss what it was like being the oldest of six and watching his father navigate through the 50's and 60's.
